Author Of Last Rites...Unforgettable People, Unforgettable Memories

In our society that takes pride in  recognizing and appreciating  only celebrities and achievers, there exist  a few and perhaps only a few who still carry some priceless   human values. They may  appear quite ordinary and hence the larger society remain  ignorant  of them and about  the values they pass on from one generation to another. However, they are the bearers of some  real  touching stories of  unique  human relations that are almost extinct now.

Inspired by a true story of such human beings, their intrinsic values and their relationships, one  wet morning when Rain God was pouring His heart ,  I decided to pour mine too. I tried to  rediscover  those human beings, those invaluable  values and their inter-relationships.

The outcome is my first novel - Last Rites...Unforgettable People, Unforgettable Memories

A story about  simple yet unforgettable characters living in a small city. A  story about memorable events in that small city that cuts across few decades - through turbulent 70s, exciting 80s and  finally curtains by  early  90s. A story weaved around an imbroglio that takes a communal face in unforeseen situations, a  story about small city bonding between those friends, a story about unique relations. The events are  thought provoking, weird and dramatic at times.

Let  that small city life resurrect, let the  characters unfold, let the events unfurl once again ……
